when one of them began to drill a hole in the boat.

His friend asked, “Why are you drilling?”

He replied, “What business is it of yours?

I am drilling under me, not under you.”

So he replied, “Fool!

We will both drown together!”

Два человека плывут в одной лодке,
и один начал сверлить дырку под собой,
делая отверстие на дне лодки.

Сказал ему товарищ:
«Что же ты делаешь?»
Ответил ему:
«Какое тебе дело?
Я ведь сверлю под собой,
а не под тобой».

Сказал ему:
«Дурак! Ведь мы оба
утонем вместе в этой лодке».
